Quite resounding analysis but largely afflicted by sentiments why do you fault the fair judgement and pure intentions of the senate to amend an existing law, we should avoid derogatory remarks against the institution of the parliament which represent democracy just because its president is on conduct trial.

    1. Pray!! what is sentimental about the fact that the proposed amendment by the Nigerian Senate is an exercise in futility if the relevant Constitutional amendment is not undertaken. The amendment is an attempt by desperate people who seek to use their offices to emasculate rules set up to check their excesses.

      Let us stop giving reverence to persons merely because they occupy exalted positions and moreso when their antecedents show that such persons are undeserving of such regard. The senate president should work towards establishing a legacy of helping the needy rather than being accused of deceiving his colleagues to get into office and corrupt enrichment.
