LawPavilion Celebrates International Women’s Day from March 1 – March 8, 2016

International Women’s Day (IWD), originally called International Working Women’s Day, is celebrated on March 8 every year. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation, and love towards women to a celebration for women’s economic, political, and social achievements. This year’s theme is: “Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality”.

One of the greatest outcomes of the current democratic dispensation in Nigeria which started in 1999 is the qualitative participation and empowerment of women in all spheres of our national life. We are seeing Nigerian women run for office and attain positions in the top echelon of social, economic and professional groups. Nigerian women have indeed seized and optimized the little opportunities they had, to be where they are today, and this reality is worth emphasizing and celebrating even as the world marks International Women’s Day on March 8.

It therefore makes sense for LawPavilion to leverage this day to emphasize its commitment to transforming Nigeria’s legal industry by equipping it with innovative tools and solutions that will enhance their work and practice. We want to acknowledge the relevance and strong presence of women in the legal space by offering them unique discounts on our products, as our way of celebrating their courage to seize and optimize opportunities they have in a unique industry such as the legal industry in Nigeria.

In this regard and in partnership with the African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), LawPavilion is pleased to announce a special discount promo of 40% targeted at female lawyers ONLY. This promo will run from today, March 1, 2016, till March 8, 2016. The discount is applicable upon full payment for both our Electronic Law Reports (LPELR 6.2) and Solicitors’ Toolkit (STK) product.

We wish every Nigerian female lawyer, and indeed women all over the world a Happy International Women’s Day Celebration!

*All terms and conditions apply*
